Stronger Together: Building Tomorrow’s Infrastructure

Last week we gathered colleagues from across Leca International for our Infra Group Technical Seminar at Scandic Fornebu, Oslo.

Over two days we shared technical knowledge, discussed infrastructure challenges, and connected across markets – with inspiring contributions from both internal and external experts.

One of the highlights was the presentation by Arnstein Watn, Senior Researcher at NTNU. With over 40 years of experience in consultancy, research, and project management – both nationally and internationally – he provided valuable insights into solutions for infrastructure and the use of lightweight fill materials.

The program was rounded off with a site visit to Fornebu Station, showing how Leca® lightweight aggregate is applied in major infrastructure projects.
